STOCKTON
GAINS: Adrian Chad, Brendon Charlton (Toronto), Bruce Cook (Port Macquarie).
LOSSES: Tom O'Neill (Uni), Trent Park (Maitland).
PROGNOSIS: Stockton have been building steadily since finishing as wooden spooners a few seasons ago. They were semi-finalists in 2020-21, and after the return of Jeff Goninan late last season and the recruitment of Adrian Chad and Brendon Charlton from Toronto, loom as genuine title challengers. On paper at least, the Harboursiders look set to field their strongest team since their 2004-05 premiership season.
