UNIVERSITY
GAINS: Matt Gawthrop (returning), Nathan Hudson (Waratah), Josh Bennett (Sydney), Tom O'Neill (Stockton).
LOSSES: Varun Sharma (India).
PROGNOSIS: The return of Nathan Hudson, after a two-season stint with Waratah, will boost the Students with both bat and ball. Matthew Gawthrop is expected to be available for the entire season, which should compensate for the loss of Indian run machine Varun Sharma. Uni underachieved last season in finishing second last, and they will be desperate to atone.
