Both clubs are in action on Saturday, November 13.
Olympic take on Macarthur at No.2 Sportsground at 6pm in their round-of-32 battle.
In a change to past seasons, the bottom four teams in the A-League from last season play off for two places in the FFA Cup.
The Jets meet Western United in Geelong in a qualifer, which was to kick off at 7pm, causing a clash.
However, the Jets in conjunction Football Australia and Western United have arranged to move the start back to 7.45pm.
"We want to support the NPL competition and see clubs like Olympic succeed," Jets executive chairman Shane Matiske said. "We also want to make sure football fans in the region have an opportunity to see a quality game at a great venue like No.2 and also be able to watch our game."
Meanwhile, the Jets are set to reach 5000 members and matiske hopes the release last week of the full draw will be the catalyst for more people to jump on board.
"We are about to reach 5000 members, which is great for the club," Matiske said. "That was in the absence of a full draw. Now that it is out, we are hoping to see those numbers push through.
"We start and finish at home with the Mariners and have a good mix of time slots spread over Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays."
