SEVEN Hunter charities and not for profit groups have shared in almost half a million dollars in funding grants.
Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation made the announcements yesterday, which saw $800,000 delivered to a dozen charities and not for profit groups across NSW.
Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation chair Jennifer Leslie said the recipients were selected because "we know it will make a difference". "I've seen first-hand the long-lasting impact our grants have in delivering projects and outcomes that help create opportunities for those in need to thrive. These projects will help to rewrite the future for many," she said.
