POLICE investigating a stabbing at Newcastle Ocean Baths have released CCTV images of a man they say could assist with their inquiries.
The images, which span from Queens Wharf to Pacific Park and Shortland Esplanade, show a man in dark clothing carrying a light-coloured backpack.

His face is covered.
Investigators established Strike Force Coybil after the June 2021 incident, which remains unsolved.
Officers attended about 9.35pm on June 14 after reports a man had been injured.
They arrived to find an 18-year-old man with stab wounds to his back.
Passers-by and paramedics treated him at the scene before he was taken to the John Hunter Hospital.
Police said on Wednesday the man had recovered from his injuries.
