AN Edgeworth man has become the third charged by police over a Cardiff pub robbery.

Officers arrested the man on Wednesday in relation to the Main Road hold-up, when two masked men entered the venue about 12.20am on January 25 this year.
One wielded a handgun while the other carried a meat cleaver. Police allege they threatened two employees before taking a cash register and fleeing.
Officers were told the two men left in a blue Ford Falcon sedan last seen heading east.
The employees, a 52-year-old man and 25-year-old woman, both escaped physical injury.

The State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad formed Strike Force Hawksview to examine the matter, charging two men aged 32 and 33.
Shortly before 1pm on Wednesday officers from Waratah attended an Edgeworth home.
"On arrival, a 27-year-old man led police on a short foot pursuit and attempted to evade them by swimming through a nearby creek," police said in a statement.
The man was found in bushland a short time later and arrested.
He has been charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon and four counts of drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
Police said they will allege the man was one of three responsible for the pub hold-up.
He was refused bail to face Toronto Local Court.
