GOOD CAUSE Bike riders are invited to join the Newcastle to Richmond leg of the four-day Beach to Bush for Mia adventure – or complete the entire four-day Port Macquarie to Wagga Wagga (October 4 to 7) event. It’s a fundraiser for Mia, 4, who has a rare congenital limb difference and needs to travel to the US for surgery. Organiser Chris White and fellow riders will meet at Swell Kiosk, Bar Beach, from 8.30am on October 5 and ride to Richmond from 9.30am. Swell Kiosk is offering a free coffee for every breakfast purchased. Riders are welcome to meet the group at the Burwood Inn on the night of October 4, too. Phone Chris on 0458 143 312 or email chris_magpie@hotmail.com for details.
