GOOD CAUSE Bike riders are invited to join the Newcastle to Richmond leg of the four-day Beach to Bush for Mia adventure – or complete the entire four-day Port Macquarie to Wagga Wagga (October 4 to 7) event. It’s a fundraiser for Mia, 4, who has a rare congenital limb difference and needs to travel to the US for surgery. Organiser Chris White and fellow riders will meet at Swell Kiosk, Bar Beach, from 8.30am on October 5 and ride to Richmond from 9.30am. Swell Kiosk is offering a free coffee for every breakfast purchased. Riders are welcome to meet the group at the Burwood Inn on the night of October 4, too.
