This reserve position was left open by Aidan Guerra, who has now been named to start in the second-row and replaces injured Knights regular Lachlan Fitzgibbon.
Fitzgibbon was ruled out Saturday because of a hamstring issue.
Pasami Saulo was also omitted from the extended squad.
Tex Hoy, standing in for suspended Kalyn Ponga at fullback, and hooker Chris Randall, wearing the No.14 jersey, are set to make their NRL debuts.
The Knights last played against the Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval on March 22 before the global coronavirus pandemic saw the national rugby league competition shut down for two months.
Play is scheduled to get underway at 4:05pm.
