Wyong, who played in Newcastle between 2003 and 2012, make the move after Central Coast cancelled their senior competition just before the weekend's opening round.
The former NSW Cup club will be up against Western Suburbs at Harker Oval on Sunday, fielding teams in all four grades - men's tier one, men's tier two, under 19s and women's Blues tag.
The Roos aren't the only Central Coast outfits shifting for 2020 in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.
North Lakes are now part of the Newcastle Hunter Community Rugby League A-grade competition, which now drops to seven teams and kicks off this weekend.
Woy Woy had expressed interest but didn't field a side while Group 21 outfits Greta Branxton and Singleton have withdrawn.
NCHRL didn't go ahead with round one, calling it off Saturday morning.
