The Blues handed minor premiers Killarney Vale their first loss of the year at Adelaide Street Oval on Saturday with Joyce adjudged the most influential player for the 2020 decider.
"I think I'm more proud of the team medal to be honest," Joyce said on Saturday.
"It's a privilege and an honour but I could pick four or five other girls who could have won this [individual] award. At the end of the day what matters is that we got the premiership."
"As a kid you want to be the best on the biggest stage so it's a massive achievement for me," the 23-year-old said.
